Where the photographs come from
Every photograph on this site is work of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is in the public domain. Each one is listed below with the source file it was cropped from.
Images are cropped and re-encoded as WebP; nothing else about them is altered. Public domain carries no attribution requirement, so this page exists because naming a source is the right thing to do, not because a licence forces it. The diagrams on the site are drawn in-house and are not photographs.
